Cancellation and Payment Policy

Payment for the appointments

You will have the option to pay for your appointment at the end of the booking form. Alternatively, payment for the appointment must be made by bank transfer or Revolut within 3 days of making the booking. It is mandatory for new clients to complete the payment for their first session no later than 3 days before the date of the visit. Failure to complete the payment within the timeframe will cancel the appointment and render the previously booked spot vacant to other clients. It will also incur the unpaid fee when booking subsequent appointments.

Cancellation and Missed Appointment Policy

Our goal is to provide quality care to all our clients in a timely manner. Please be aware of our policy regarding missed / cancelled appointments.
No-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations inconvenience not only our therapist, but our other clients as well.

Appointment Cancellation
When you book your appointment, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to our other clients. In order to be respectful of your fellow clients, please email contact@psychologistcork.ie or text +353 87 675 2267, as soon as you know you will not be able to make your appointment.

If cancellation is necessary, we require that you call at least 48 hours in advance. Appointments are in high demand, and your advanced notice will allow another person access to that appointment time.

How to Cancel Your Appointment
If you need to cancel your appointment, please call us at +353 87 675 2267. If necessary, you may leave a detailed voicemail message. We will return your call as soon as possible.

Late Cancellations/No-Shows
A cancellation is considered late when the appointment is cancelled less than 12 hours before the appointed time. A no-show is when a patient misses an appointment without cancelling. In either case, we will charge the patient full missed appointment fee.

For new clients’ first appointments, a no show or late cancellation will result in a full charge of the fee. Further appointments will only be possible upon settling unpaid fees.
